What's Opened, Closed In Long Beach On Labor Day?

Here's a look at what's going to be available on Monday, Sept. 2.

Labor Day is here, which means it's the last three-day weekend to get in at the beach before summer ends.

Here's what's opened and what's closed on Monday, Sept. 2 in Long Beach.

All city offices — including City Hall, the Recreation Center, the Ice Rink, the Magnolia Senior Center and the YFS Day Care Center — are closed. East End sanitation pickup is still happening, though. The Long Beach Buses are also operating on a Sunday schedule for the holiday. For the schedule, click here.

Here is some additional information on what is open and closed on Labor Day:

  • Banks - All banks are closed on Labor Day.
  • Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the owner's discretion.
  • Liquor Stores - Open at owner's discretion.
