My last post, E-Z Check Washing at a Corner Near You, prompted me to a follow up.
So, I did some local eyes-on research and found, upon my first look, a problem...mail “shark bites.” Because of the bite I witnessed I checked with the main relevant source, the U.S. Postal Service.
I interviewed two reliable and substantial Post Office sources there and they gave me the inside-the-tank look at the new blue mail sharks on our corners.

It was revealing, informative, and re-assuring.
The new mail collection boxes are the perfect response to mailbox fishing. Such “fishing” and check washing, has recently plagued Long Beach and is spreading to other regions as each area becomes fortified with the new technology.

If your’e not in a fortified area you need to be careful of the “fishermen.” But have no fear, for the new technology is coming to you…or for you.
