Words and Birds
There's something special about sunshine, beaches and creatures when you've worked so long in the "shade".

There's a lot of drama and beauty at springtime on the beach. Many of us are fully aware of it with every jetty we pass. Others maybe not so much. Maybe we're too involved with thinking about how Dad or Mom could have given more attention. Or a project at work tomorrow that MUST be done. Or that funny noise with the car.
But others of us try to leave all that baggage behind and see what's right in front of us. Suck it all in. Stop the clock and the moment, for just a moment.
Some of us have worked decades in confines that were, well very confining: cubicles, offices, stores, even subways. But we had to do it, we had to be there.

So when we are not so confined, the open beach is a wide spread of absolute delight.
Those of us still at those confines five or six days a week, you still have the off-hours: the early mornings in the rising sun, the evenings, the weekends. It's worth a trip to the shore. But if you do go, please BE there.

Here's a look at a bit of it. Stop and see for yourself, when you're out of your "office", whatever it may be:
Be well,
