You Can Still Give Back With The City's Blood Drive

Christmas may be over, but there's still time to give back if you're still in the giving spirit.

The City of Long Beach is holding its winter blood drive on Thursday at the Ice Rink, located at 150 West Bay Drive, from 2 to 8 p.m.

Blood is always in short supply, so those who can give are encouraged to. Eligible donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, have had no tattoos in the last 12 months and be between 16 and 75 years old. Donors 16 years old must have a parent's note, and donors over 75 must be approved by their doctor.
