Great Neck Library 2026 Children’s Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff: Songs for Seeds Concert

This summer we’ll be unearthing a story! Join us for our 2026 Summer Challenge Kickoff on June 26th, at 11 AM, we’ll have a wonderful concert for little ones from Songs for Seeds! Songs for Seeds concerts bring the joyful, high-energy magic of our classes straight to your celebration. Our interactive live performances are designed to feel effortless for parents and pure fun for kids. Registration for this event is requested, but not required.

Song and seeds performers are teachers and musicians who guide children on an immersive musical adventure packed with interactive, educational fun! Your little ones will explore global songs and languages, paint and spots shapes during nursery rhyme sing-alongs, and learn numbers through captivating magic tricks. Plus, they will master animal names and sounds with an exciting matching game.

Join us for this exciting musical performance at the Great Neck Library! The concert takes place on Friday, June 26, from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at our 159 Bayview Avenue location.

Don’t forget to sign up for the 2026 Children’s Summer Reading Challenge at any of our Great Neck library branches! Participants are qualified for various prizes and raffle drawings. The program spans from June 1st to September 5th. We look forward to welcoming you weekly to collect rewards and earn entries for the grand finale raffle.
