Seeing Stars, presented by the Vanderbilt Museum and Reichert Planetarium at GN Library

Starting with the basics about light and how telescopes operate, learn how space observing instruments have evolved and what they are currently revealing about the Universe. Plus, GNL residents and cardholders can experience it firsthand by borrowing a telescope or astronomy binoculars from our Library of Things!

This program is brought to you by the Vanderbilt Museum and Reichert Planetarium as part of their Starred Pages outreach program. It will take place at the Great Neck Library Main Branch at 159 Bayview Avenue, Great Neck, on Monday, August 10, at 6:30 p.m.
