Marieke Penterman, founder and Master Cheesemaker behind award-winning Marieke Gouda, will be visiting Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace in Greenvale on Friday, September 25 for a special meet and greet and cheese tasting where guests will sample Penterman’s Honey Clover Gouda and Italian Herb Gouda, featured exclusively at Uncle Giuseppe’s.
Penterman is one of the most accomplished cheesemakers in the country. She became the fourth woman to earn Wisconsin’s Master Cheesemaker certification, and Marieke Gouda has earned 300+ awards in competitions around the world. Her Honey Clover Gouda most recently won a gold medal at the 2026 World Cheese Championship.
