Join us for an interactive screening of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, just in time for the film’s 25th anniversary. From 5:15–6:00 PM, enjoy Harry Potter-themed crafts and activities, including wand-making, a Hogwarts house sorting quiz, Luna Lovegood glasses, beading, and more. Try some non-alcoholic Butterbeer or hot cocoa, and feel free to come in costume for plenty of photo opportunities. The film will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. There will also be a special raffle, with one lucky winner receiving a selection of Harry Potter books and Wizarding World toys. Crafts and drinks are available while supplies last.
Registration begins October 29 for Merrick Library cardholders and November 5 for all others, as space allows.
