Chuck Lavine Announces Endorsements from 36 Long Island and New York Democratic Leaders
Democratic Candidate for Nassau County Executive Chuck Lavine announced the endorsement of 36 New York Democratic leaders

GLEN COVE, New York - Today, Democratic Candidate for Nassau County Executive Chuck Lavine announced the endorsement of 36 New York Democratic leaders and progressive activists. Chuck was endorsed by several current and former elected officials from Nassau County including former Congressman Lester Wolff, New York State Assembly Deputy Speaker Earlene Hooper, Assemblymember Anthony D’Urso and former New York Assemblymembers Michelle Schimel and Harvey Weisenberg.
In his endorsement, former Congressman Lester Wolff said, “I endorse Chuck Lavine for Nassau County Executive because Chuck is a progressive leader who believes that Nassau deserves better than the broken promises and corruption of the Mangano administration. Chuck has the experience to root out fraud and cronyism in Nassau County government, and the guts to stand up for Nassau families and speak out against the cruel Trump agenda.”

Responding to the endorsements, Chuck said, “As our grassroots campaign continues to grow, it is clear that our progressive message of reform and our willingness to challenge Nassau County’s corrupt leadership is resonating with voters and Democratic leaders throughout our state and our community.”
The latest round of endorsements for Chuck includes New York State Senator Liz Krueger, and follows support from Former Rep. Steve Israel (NY-03) and Former Rep. Gary Ackerman (NY-05) in addition to Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie and Majority Leader Joe Morelle.

Chuck Lavine is a Democratic candidate for Nassau County Executive. He has served in the New York State Assembly since 2005 and represents the 13th District which includes Glen Cove and portions of Oyster Bay and North Hempstead. In the assembly, Chuck is Chair of the Assembly Ethics Committee and Co-chair of the State Legislative Ethics Commission. Chuck lives in Glen Cove with his wife, Ronnie.
