Dori Geier of IGHL and IGHL Retirement Plan Recognized in National Award

Independent Group Home Living Program, Inc., (IGHL), providing services for men, women and children who have intellectual disabilities, is delighted to announce that IGHL's Doris Geier, Sr. Director, IGHL Human Resources, has been named a finalist in the 5th Annual Excellence and Innovation Awards.

The awards are co-sponsored by Pension & Investments and the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) and are designed to recognize executives at defined contribution plans who undertake creative and unique projects to drive successful outcomes for participants.

The IGHL retirement plan provides employees of the not-for-profit organization a state-of-the-art plan that includes a corporate match to a portion of the employee's contribution. The retirement plan is easily understood with improved communication and assistance between the employee and financial advisors.

"I'm accepting this award on behalf of all IGHL employees knowing that their choices in making plans for retirement have greatly improved," says Geier. "Without the support of the IGHL Executive Committee, we could never have achieved this."

Geier represented IGHL in accepting the Excellence Award at the Excellence and Innovation Awards Luncheon on Monday, October 24 at P&I's annual West Coast Defined Contribution Conference at the Hilton Bayfront in San Diego, California.
