Former Nurse, Taryn Caruso, Becomes Associate Attorney at Duffy & Duffy, PLLC

Nurse-turned-attorney brings firsthand medical insight to Duffy & Duffy's medical malpractice and personal injury practice.

Duffy & Duffy, PLLC is proud to announce the addition of Taryn Caruso as an Associate Attorney, further strengthening the firm’s commitment to advocating for victims of medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and personal injury.

Caruso brings a distinctive background to the firm, beginning her professional career in healthcare as a registered nurse at Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jefferson University, she worked directly with patients, gaining firsthand insight into medical treatment, hospital systems, and the impact of negligent care on individuals and families. That experience continues to inform her compassionate, client-centered approach to legal advocacy today.

Driven by a growing interest in the legal aspects of healthcare and patient rights, Caruso transitioned into a paralegal role, where she developed a strong foundation in legal procedure, case development, and client communication. Her work as a paralegal ultimately inspired her to pursue a legal career, combining her medical knowledge with formal legal training.

As an associate attorney at Duffy & Duffy, PLLC, Caruso is dedicated to advocating on behalf of individuals harmed by medical malpractice. She is known for guiding clients through difficult legal situations with clarity, integrity, and determination, whether negotiating settlements or preparing cases for trial.
