LI African American Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 15 Years of Transformative Impact & New Member Initiative

Long Island, NY — The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce (LIAACC), the largest African American Chamber of Commerce in New York State, proudly marks its 15th anniversary—celebrating a decade and a half of economic empowerment, business development, and community advancement across Long Island and the greater New York region.

As the Chamber reflects on its major milestones, it also launches a renewed membership initiative designed to expand its reach and strengthen the economic voice of African American–owned businesses.

• Historic Expansion Across New York State: LIAACC became the first African American Chamber of Commerce to serve the entire Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Brooklyn & setting a new standard for regional business advocacy.
• Record-Breaking Business Certifications: Through its Minority Business Certification Initiative, LIAACC has helped hundreds of African American–owned businesses secure M/WBE certification, unlocking access to millions of dollars in contracting opportunities.
• Entrepreneurship Training & Capacity Building: The Chamber has delivered thousands of hours of workshops, seminars, and technical assistance programs, equipping business owners with tools to scale, hire, and compete in emerging markets.
