Lt. Gov. Benjamin Helps Cut Ribbon on New Vets Housing

Association for Mental Health and Wellness celebrates new supportive housing for veterans in Medford, Mastic, and Riverhead.

The Association for Mental Health and Wellness (MHAW) cut the ribbon on a new beautiful permanent residence in Medford for formerly homeless veterans, which also celebrated new veterans housing in Riverhead and Mastic. MHAW was proud to be joined by several state and local officials, including Lt. Governor Brian Benjamin. The initiative is part of Suffolk County's "Housing Our Homeless Heroes" program.
