Over 100 Attendees Gather at Book Signing in Huntington to Support Long Island Author Rob Esposito

More than 100 guests filled The Next Chapter Bookstore recently to celebrate the debut book signing of Long Island native and award-winning author, Robert Esposito. The event spotlighted Esposito’s book, Nobody Move (Without Reading This), and his mission to help families tackle moving, one of life’s most chaotic transitions. The book with practical tips and real-life stories gives people greater confidence, clarity and helps to reduce less stress before, during and after the moving process.

Esposito shared personal stories behind the book’s creation and why he included actual moving horror stories. One such striking anecdote came from Long Island Rock N’ Roll legend Dee Snider. As told in Nobody Move, the Snider family’s belongings were held hostage by a moving company, forcing Dee’s father to pay an outrageous, ransom-like fee just to reclaim their possessions. Stories like these serve as powerful cautionary tales in the book, offering readers practical strategies to avoid similar situations and spot red flags before they’re taken advantage of.

“Hosting my first book signing here on Long Island, where I’m from, was important to me,” said Esposito. “I wanted to share the story and purpose behind the book and let people know about the movement we’re starting. Moving does not have to be hard; it can be done efficiently and with much less stress when planned out and done right.”

In addition to signing copies and sharing his experiences, Rob and his team unveiled the Nobody Move Care Package. This newly released companion product package is aimed at empowering those preparing for a move. The package includes a copy of the book, checklists, color-coded stickers for organizing boxes and room labels, and other high-impact tools designed to reduce chaos by helping people be better prepared and organized.

The evening marked more than just a celebration of a book. According to Esposito, the event was also the launch of a growing movement centered on preparedness, protection, and peace of mind. Guests left not only inspired by Rob’s message but equipped with tools to approach life’s transitions with less stress and more confidence.
