On Saturday, October 29th at 8:00PM the sights and sounds of one of the world’s biggest psychedelic and progressive rock groups comes to life at The Space at Westbury Theatre when Preemo Productions Presents “A Tribute to Rock Legends LIVE!” with Pink Floyd Tribute Us and Floyd! Opening the show will be Long Island’s own Matt Searing. Partial proceeds of this Show will go to benefit the Independent Group Home Living Program as well as World T.E.A.M. Sports. Us And Floyd delivers thoroughly authentic recreations of the timeless music of Pink Floyd, enhanced with a customized light show that leaves audiences mesmerized. This group of professional musicians are life-long Floyd fans, and incorporate their knowledge of the band and its history into every live show. Their collective appreciation for Floyd is evidenced by the passion and precision of every performance. The Band covers songs from Pink Floyd's vast catalog of albums including: Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, The Final Cut, Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell. Matt Searing is a versatile singer/guitarist who boasts a repertoire of nearly 2000 songs, offering something to suit almost all musical tastes. A "Vocal Chameleon," people often ask if an "unplugged" CD is playing. A singer/songwriter for many years on the original music scene, Matt dabbled in the funk and soul arenas with acts such as the now defunct Soul Shakers and Funky In The Middle. Matt was the original lead singer of the Steely Dan Tribute Stealin' Dan, now FM: A Steely Dan Tribute, and still performs with them from time to time. He was one of the lead singers in Minute By Minute: A Tribute to Michael McDonald and The Doobie Brothers, as well as the front man for the Tom Petty/Fleetwood Mac band Petty Rumours. He performs at a variety of events with Tom's Dad's Band! and as a solo acoustic performer.
