On Saturday August 13th from 7am til 10am, the Lynbrook Pool will be holding a Swim Across America event.
Swim Across America raises funds to help find a cure for cancer. 100% of what is raised goes to the beneficiaries and since their inception in 2001, the Nassau / Suffolk Chapter of Swim Across America has donated over $3,000,000 to cancer research, prevention and treatment. One of their primary beneficiaries is The MIRACLE pavillion at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre. Last year the Lynbrook Pool event raised almost $10,000.
