Lynbrook Football Tops Sewanhaka, 28-14

The boys move to 5-1 in conference III after the win Saturday.

The Lynbrook football team defeated Sewanhaka at home Saturday, 28-14.

Rocco Scibelli led the Owls on offense, rushing for 147 yards and scoring two touchdowns. Luke Spitzer added 89 yards and a touchdown, while Duscy Mashculi led Lynbrook on defense with 12 tackles.

At 5-1, the Owls now sit in second place in conference III, trailing only Bethpage (6-0), whom they will face in the regular season finale on Oct. 29. Lynbrook's next game is on Saturday, Oct. 22 when they head to Lawrence at 1:30 p.m.
