
A Lynbrook store was robbed at knifepoint on Sunday night, according to Nassau County Police.
A man armed with a knife, entered Blossom Corner Store at 459 Merrick Road, approached the store clerk and demanded money at about 9:15 a.m., police said
The clerk opened the cash register and the man took an unknown amount of cash and fled the store on foot westbound on Merrick Road, according to police.

There were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported.
The man is described as 5-foot-9 with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a black vest, black mask and gloves, according to police.
