Man Threw Rocks At Cars From LIRR Platform: Nassau Police
Police say the man damaged cars on the ground, and then tried to flee when police arrived.

Nassau police arrested a Brooklyn man Monday night after he was allegedly throwing rocks off the Lynbrook LIRR platform onto cars below.
Police say that Lynbrook Police officers responded to a 911 call at 7:30 p.m. for someone throwing rocks at cars on Peninsula Boulevard from the train station platform. When they arrived, officers said they saw a man on the south platform who fled east once he saw them.
Police searched for the man, and a short time later located and arrested Titus Garcia, 30, of Martense Street. Police say that Garcia caused $500 in damage to a 2007 BMW, $2,500 in damage to a 2018 Infinity and $750 in damage to a 2017 Mercedes Benz.

Garcia is charged with second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of third-degree criminal mischief and reckless endangerment. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
