Nassau Man Sent Sexually Explicit Photos to Children Via Mobile App: Police
The 27-year-old was arrested Tuesday morning.

A 27-year-old Hempstead man “befriended” children on a mobile app and then sent them sexually explicit pictures, Nassau Police said Tuesday.
Daniel Arturo Monrroy Pineda was arrested Tuesday morning in front of his home on Tyler Avenue, police said.
According to police, Pineda created an account on “ooVoo,” a video chat and instant messaging app, under the screen name “Papi” and made “friend” requests to numerous female minors between the ages of 11 and 14.

When a victim accepted the request, Pineda would began sending sexually explicit photos to the girl, police said.
Pineda is charged with 10 counts of second degree disseminating indecent material to a minor and will be arraigned on Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
