Police Hunting Valley Stream Bank Robber
Man wore scarf around his face as he robbed a Capital One bank, cops said.

Nassau County Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Valley Stream bank Saturday afternoon.
At 12:40 p.m., a man demanded money from a teller at Capital One Bank on Central Avenue. The man made a verbal demand before claiming he had a gun, cops said.
The teller cooperated an handed over an unknown amount of cash to the man, who fled west on Clarendon Drive on foot, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery. Five employees and one customer were inside the bank at the time.

The subject was described as a white or latino man, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-7, light complexion, and thin build. He was wearing dark sunglasses, an oatmeal-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, light brown boots, and a scarf across his face.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
