1 Killed, 2 Injured In Nassau Motorcycle Crash

Police say the motorcyclist hit two people as they were crossing the road, killing one of them.

One person was killed and two injured after a motorcycle crash in Massapequa Friday night.

According to police, two people were crossing Merrick Road, east of Glen Road, at 6:45 p.m. when they were hit by a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle.

One of the pedestrians, a 67-year-old man, suffered multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other pedestrian was taken to the hospital and is listed in fair condition.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old man, was air-lifted to a hospital and is in serious condition.

Police have not yet identified any of the people involved in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
