8 Pounds Of Marijuana, Briefcase With Cash Found In Car During Traffic Stop: Police

Four men were arrested after the traffic stop Saturday evening, Nassau Police say.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Four men were arrested after they were found with eight pounds of marijuana and a briefcase full of cash during a traffic stop in Massapequa Saturday evening, according to Nassau Police.

According to police, officers pulled over a black 2015 Lexus for having tinted windows near Unqua Road and Sunrise Highway at about 6:25 p.m.

After approaching the car, the officer noted that the occupants were not wearing seatbelts and detected an odor of marijuana, police said.

Officers then found marijuana on the center console and drug paraphernalia in plain view on the rear seat, police said.

The investigation revealed multiple electronic cigarette containers of concentrated marijuana, the marijuana and a briefcase containing an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

All occupants were arrested without incident.

Adam Fishelberg, 24, of Plainview, is charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, 14 counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, tinted windows and driver without a seatbelt, police said.

Jack S. Randazzo, 19, of Syosset, is charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, police said.

James Naylor, 21, of North Massapequa, and Vincent Roscigno, 19, of Old Bethpage, are each charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
