Arrest In Connection To Massapequa Crash That Killed 3 Relatives: Cops

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Police made an arrest on Friday in connection to a Massapequa crash that killed three family members.

Michael Deangelo, 32, of Lindenhurst, was charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, three counts of second-degree manslaughter, six counts of second-degree assault, two counts of third-degree assault and two counts of driving while ability impaired.

He was going to have a hospital bedside arraignment on Friday, police said.

Patrice Huntley, 60, was killed in the Sunrise Highway collision on Sunday evening. His 12-year-old daughter Hannah and his 11-year-old son Jeremiah, who lived in Uniondale, were also killed.

Patrice's 18-year-old step-daughter Brienna and five-year-old step-granddaughter were critically hurt, according to the GoFundMe page, which has received more than $47,000 in donations through Friday afternoon.
