Arrest Made In September Bank Robbery
Police say the Suffolk man handed a note to the bank teller demanding money, then fled the bank with the cash.

Nassau police arrested a man from Wyandanch and charged him with a bank robbery from September.
According to police, Rashan Burris 31, of Birch Street, entered the Capital One Bank located at 4374 Sunrise Highway in Massapequa on Sept. 2 and handed a demand note to the teller. The teller complied and gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. After that, police say, Burris fled the bank.
Police say there were three customers and four employees in the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was injured.

Burris is charged with third-degree robbery. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
