Hosted by the Massapequa Bowl & Lounge, come out Friday night for a fun evening of rolling strikes, enjoying live music, and just having an all around good time. Tickets are $20 to attend.
MAKE break Firecracker Slime: Saturday, June 29, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. (5500 Sunrise Highway)
Get into the July 4 mood a little early, as Michaels' is hosting a family friendly crafting workshop. Add glitter, stars and more to red slime — all you have to do is is buy the plastic jar and the rest of the supplies will be provided.
Massapequa Multi-Family Yard Sale: Saturday, June 29, 8 a.m - 3 p.m. (574 Franklin Avenue)
There aren't a whole lot of details on this one, but any yard sale provides the chance of finding hidden treasures at affordable prices. If your in the area on Saturday, it definitely won't hurt swinging by the yard sale to see what's on display.
Massapequa Firecracker 5k: Sunday, June 30, 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Brady Park)
The 39th Annual Massapequa Firecracker 5k and 1/4 Mile Kids Fun Run is set to bring out big numbers to Brady Park on Sunday afternoon. The 3.1 mile course begins at the corner of the Park and Clark Boulevard, and eventually ends down Lake Shore Drive and back into Brady Park.
Prizes are handed out based on overall placement, age groups, and residency. Medals will however be provided to all race finishers.
The race will run from 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m and a festival will be held after in Brady Park.
Paint Nite: Sea of Abundance: Sunday, June 30, 1 p.m. (One Sunrise Mall)
Located in Bar Louie at the Massapequa Sunrise Mall, a canvas, paint supplies and instructors are all provided, so grab your friends and enjoy your Sunday afternoon unleashing your inner artist.
