Hurricane Harvey: Where Town Of Oyster Bay Residents Can Make Donations
The Town will be partnering with Island Harvest to collect food and donations for victims of the devastating hurricane.

Officials announced on Wednesday that the Town of Oyster Bay will partner with Island Harvest to collect food and supplies to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
As a result of the deadly storm, thousands of people are now seeking food and temporary shelter, which hit the Texas area earlier this week.
"This is our opportunity to help give back to the many people and agencies who came to our aid following Superstorm Sandy," Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino said. "I urge everyone to donate what they can, as this is our chance to help our fellow Americans.”

Some Of The Many Ways You Can Help Harvey Victims
In addition, the Town will also collect donations at the Waterfront Festival and Bluefish Tournament at Theodore Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay on Sept. 10 between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
“After seeing the devastation in Texas, and as we remember and remain grateful for all the help the country gave us after Superstorm Sandy, I felt it was only appropriate to partner up with a great organization like Island Harvest and the Town in this endeavor to help the great people of Texas that are victims of this tragic event,” Pravato said.
Residents can donate nonperishable, ready-to-eat food items, cleaning supplies and toiletries such as personal hygiene items like deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. No clothing items will be accepted.
“Our residents know first-hand the devastating impact Mother Nature can deliver,” Imbroto said. “Together with Island Harvest, we can help the victims of Hurricane Harvey in rebuilding lives.”
