Massapequa High School was recently named a Reward School by the New York State Department of Education for the fourth year in a row.

The local school was one of 185 schools in state to make the list of high-performing schools.
“Massapequa High School is proud to be named a New York State Reward School in 2017,” Principal Patrick DiClemente said. “This distinction reflects our students’ dedication, staff commitment and overall community support of our academic and overall program, and is truly another mark of our successful collaboration to unite as a positive school community."
