Knife-Wielding Man Robbed Nassau 7-Eleven
Police say he threw the register on the ground to smash it open, then grabbed the cash and ran.

A man robbed a Massapequa 7-Eleven at knifepoint early Monday morning, and police are seeking the public's help to find him.
According to police, the man entered the 7-Eleven at 4222 Sunrise Highway at 1:04 a.m., armed with a knife. He jumped over the counter and tried to use the knife to pry open the register. When that didn't work, he threw the register on the floor, smashing it open. He stole the cash from inside and then fled west on Sunrise Highway.
The robber was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a grey and white baseball cap.

Police ask anyone with information about this robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a reward if your information leads to an arrest.
