A Deer Park man was arrested in Massapequa Sunday morning after police say he chased a security guard through a parking lot with a large knife.

According to police, John Harvey, 38, of Washington Avenue, Deer Park, got into an argument with another driver over a parking space at the Shop Rite parking lot, located at 5500 Sunrise Highway in Massapequa. A Shop Rite security guard saw the argument and attempted to stop it.
