Man Leads Police On High Speed Chase From Nassau To Suffolk: Cops
The 29-year-old fled from police driving over 100 mph on the Southern State Parkway, cops say.

MASSAPEQUA, NY - A Copaigue man was arrested on Thursday afternoon after leading police on a high speed chase from Nassau to Suffolk County last month, according to State Police.
On July 26, Tyrone Moore, 29, was pulled over for suspicion of driving while intoxicated when he fled from the Trooper driving a 2012 black Honda Accord traveling eastbound on the Southern State Parkway at over 100 mph.
The pursuit traveled from Nassau County into Suffolk County before it was "terminated," police said.

Through an onnoing investigation, with the help from the NYSP Troop L Gun Investigation Unit, Long Island Heroin Task Force and the U.S. federal marshals, Moore was found at the Budget Inn on 400 Carmen Mill Road in Massapequa and taken into custody at 12 p.m. on Thursday, police said.
Moore is charged with third degree unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, third degree reckless endangerment, DWI, third degree unauthorized use of a vehicle, second degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He is scheduled for arraignment on Friday.
