Massapequa Beach Closed To Swimming Until Further Notice
Bacteria levels in the water are too high to be safe, health officials say.

Biltmore Beach Club, a private beach located in Massapequa, is completely closed to bathing, according to the Nassau County Department of Health.
The beach was closed on Wednesday, June 20, after tests indicated significantly high -- and unsafe -- levels of bacteria in the beach's water.
The Nassau County Department of Health said the beach will remain closed to swimming "until testing indicates that samples are within acceptable limits." There was no indication when that may be.
