Massapequa Crime Report: Week Of Jan. 4

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Jan. 4 to Jan. 11.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

• Jan. 5: A 30-year-old Garden City Park woman was shoplifting from Sephora on Old Country Road in East Garden City.
• Jan. 5: A 40-year-old Hempstead was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's on Old Country Road in East Garden City.
• Jan. 6: A 19-year-old Dix Hills woman was arrested for shoplifting from Sephora on Old Country Road in East Garden City.
• Jan. 6: A man reported that someone entered and damaged his car at JC Penney on Old Country Road in East Garden City.
• Jan. 7: A woman reported that someone stole her unattended cell phone from the table at the La Quinta Inn on Stewart Avenue in East Garden City.
• Jan. 8: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her personal belongings at Xsport Fitness at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
• Jan. 8: A 22-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting from Sephora on Old Country Road in East Garden City.
• Jan. 8: A 23-year-old Palmetto woman was arrested for shoplifting from the Roosevelt Field Mall on Old Country Road in East Garden City.
• Jan. 9: A 25-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested for shoplifting from Bloomingdale's on Old Country Road in East Garden City.
• Jan. 10: A man reported that someone entered his car by smashing the rear drivers side window and stealing personal property at CVS on N. Broadway in Jericho.
