Massapequa Italian Market Shoplifter Arrested: Nassau Police

MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in Massapequa for the week ending Aug. 27. All charges are merely accusations.

  • Someone stole several items from an unlocked car parked on North Wisconsin Avenue in North Massapequa on Aug. 25.
  • A man stole hair products from the Pequa Plaza Shopping Center, located on Broadway in Massapequa, on Aug. 19.
  • Kerry Tinker, 58, of Melville, was arrested on Aug. 21 and charged with shoplifting from Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, located on Hicksville Road in Massapequa.
  • The tires of a car were slashed while it was parked on Broadway in Massapequa Park on Aug. 20.
