"When Sean said he wanted to have a lemonade stand and wear his police uniform we said okay but then thought why not make it for a better cause than themselves and came the idea of working with Answer the Call," the boy's mother, Debi Griffin wrote on the Facebook event.

According to Griffin, the boys' father is an NYPD Sergeant and is "their ultimate superhero."

The money will all go towards the non-profit which supports the families of New York City Police Officers, Firefighters, Port Authority Police, and EMS Personnel who have been killed in the line of duty.

"No 5 year old boy should have to ask 'mommy what is in that box by those little boys with all the police officers?' in the media coverage of Sgt. Tuozzolo's funeral here on Long Island," Griffin wrote on Facebook. "No husband and wife should have a matter of fact conversation about what to do, who to call, and these are the files if something happens to him like I did one night. This reality is a devastating one to the family behind that shield and every little bit helps. "

On Facebook, the event already started to raise money for the charity. A total of $1,750 has been raised.
