Massapequa School Budget Results Are In
Massapequa residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Massapequa residents approved the district’s $194.6 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 3,159-1,116.
The budget represents a 2.57 percent spending increase over the current year.
In the vote for Massapequa Board of Education members, incumbent Gary Baldinger was re-elected while Brian Butler beat out Janice Talento for the seat left open by Jane Ryan who is not seeking re-election.
