Mechanical Bull, Rock Wall, Zip Line: Massapequa Park Street Fair
The 2019 Massapequa Park Village Street Fair is set to bring family fun to the area Aug. 4.
MASSAPEQUA, NY — Mark down Aug. 4 on your calendar — the free Massapequa Park Street Fair is set to bring more than 150 vendors, live entertainment, and a good time for all. The fair is set to run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will be located along Park Boulevard and Front Street.
Along with the vendors and live entertainment, the street fair will also have mechanical and inflatable rides for children, a towering rock wall, a mechanical bull, a slap shot booth hosted by the New York Islanders, face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides, clam-shucking, and plenty of food options. There will also be a new 250-foot zip line.
The event is one of the largest craft fairs in Nassau County, according to the event's Facebook page listing. There will be at least two live bands performing at two locations, and downtown restaurants will offer "terrific" food, punctuated by The Good Life's outdoor oyster and clam bar with accompanying beer truck.
