
I’ve always had a “TO DO” list. However, in today’s era of Coronavirus, I have begun something quite different.
I believe this is now the moment for a “DON’T” list.
Here is mine:

- Don’t Stay in bed
- Don’t worry about missing a weekly hair appointment
- Don’t Return to bed during daylight
- Don’t Stay up beyond midnight
- Don’t wear the same black T-shirt dress daily
- Don’t unwrap or eat the Easter candy.
- Don’t ever stop wearing makeup
- Don’t keep the TV on constantly while waiting for another news flash
- Don’t read more than one book daily
- Don’t drink more than three cups of coffee daily.
- Don’t order ANYTHING else from Amazon
- Don’t neglect to phone and/or email or Facetime friends and family
- Don’t forget the robust backlog of long overdue chores pending
- Don’t forget to look out the window every morning and enjoy God’s world.
- Don’t run out of flour or coffee
- Don’t be irritable about inconveniences or people or things
- Don’t dwell on anything negative
- Don’t forget to be grateful
- Don’t be unaware others are lonely, aged, ill and afraid.
- Don’t be afraid to offer kindness.
- Don’t complain.
- Don’t forget to thank all who deliver, cook, clean or touch our new world of isolation.
- Don’t neglect to believe in tomorrow.
- Don’t ever stop praying.
- DON’T forget to read this list
