NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following thefts from cars for the week ending Oct. 1.

  • A car parked on Emily Street in Massapequa was broken into on Sept. 22.
  • Items were stolen from an unlocked car parked on Alvin Place in Inwood on Sept. 24.
  • $150 and sunglasses were stolen from a car parked on Harrison Street in Lakeview on Sept. 22.
  • $150 was stolen from a car parked on Woodland Estates Drive in Baldwin on Sept. 27.
  • A man stole items from a garage on Lord Avenue in Lawrence on Sept. 25.
  • A car parked on Washington Avenue in Roosevelt was broken into on Sept. 25.
  • $5 was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Clark Avenue in Oceanside on Sept. 27.
  • $10 was stolen from a car parked on Stevenson Road in Hewlett on Sept. 29.
  • Items were stolen from a car parked on Waterfront Boulevard in Inwood on Sept. 28.
  • Items were stolen from an unlocked car parked on Robin Lane in Plainview on Sept. 27.
  • $60 and a money clip were stolen from a car parked on Hewlett Avenue in Hewlett on Sept. 28.
  • A bulletproof vest was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Monroe Street in Inwood on Sept. 29.
  • $20 was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Sunset Road South in Searingtown on Sept. 30.
  • Items were stolen from an unlocked car parked on Hamilton Avenue in Massapequa on Sept. 29.
  • A registration card was stolen from a car parked on Locust Avenue in Cedarhurst on Sept. 28.
