Multiple Cars Have License Plates Stolen: Nassau Police

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following arrests for the week ending June 18. All charges are merely accusations.

Theft From Cars

  • Batteries were stolen from a car parked on North Central Avenue in Valley Stream on June 9.
  • Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Broadway in Garden City Park on June 10.
  • Property was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Fox Street in Elmont on June 11.
  • Both license plates were stolen from a car parked at Great Neck Nissan, located on Northern Boulevard in Great Neck, on June 3.
  • Both license plates were stolen from a car parked at Smoke Stax, located on Franklin Avenue in Franklin Square, on June 7.
  • Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Aster Lane in Levittown on June 11.
  • Property was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Emerson Place in Valley Stream on June 12.
  • Two men stole tools from a car parked on Hawthorne Avenue in Uniondale on June 13.
  • Two men stole tools from a car parked on Mulberry Lane in West Hempstead on June 13.
  • Property was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Birch Hill Road in Locust Valley on June 13.
  • Two men stole tools from a car parked on Evergreen Drive in West Hempstead on June 13.
  • Someone stole $100 from an unlocked car parked on Lee Avenue in Albertson on June 16.
  • A cell phone was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Bedford Avenue in Massapequa on June 16.

  • Two men and two women stole clothes from Old Navy, located on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, on June 11.
  • Justin O'Toole, 46, of Greenlawn, was arrested on June 12 and charged with shoplifting from Lowes, located on Dibblee Drive in East Garden City.
  • A package was stolen from the doorstep of a home on Stonytown Road in Flower Hill on June 11.
  • A package was stolen from the doorstep of a home on Central Avenue in Lawrence on June 3.
  • A man stole a package from the doorstep of a home on Foster Avenue in North Valley Stream on June 13.
  • Dashante Malik Daniels, 25, of Hempstead, was arrested on June 14 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Hemsptead Turnpike in East Meadow.
  • A man stole merchandise from CVS, located on Hillside Avenue in North New Hyde Park, on June 14.
  • A man stole merchandise from Target, located on West Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream, on June 14.
  • Ngozichukw Amadi, 51, of Jamaica, was arrested on June 14 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Green Acres Road in Valley Stream.
  • A man stole merchandise from Walgreens, located on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage, on June 14.
  • Satoya Smith, 24, of Rosedale, Nnenna Onyeukwu, 29, of Jamaica, Chatany Stephenson, 27, of Rosedale, and Nia Taylor, 35, of Brooklyn, were all arrested on June 14 and charge dwith shoplifting from Walmart, located on Old Country Road in Westbury.
  • A man stole eight cartons of ice cream from CVS on Brooklyn Avenue in Inwood on June 14.
  • A man stole merchandise from CVS, located on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, on June 14.
  • James Silcox, 23, of Williamsburg, was arrested on June 15 and charged with shoplifting from Lowes, located on Rockaway Turnpike in North Lawrence.
  • Raymond Bukowski, 55, of East Meadow, was arrested on June 16 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
  • A propane grill was stolen from the backyard of a home on Louis Avenue in Elmont on June 16.
  • Frederick Forrest, 36, of Brooklyn, was arrested on June 16 and charged with shoplifting from Home Depot, located on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, on June 16.
  • Two men stole merchandise from City Gas Station, located on Sheridan Boulevard in Inwood, on June 17.

Criminal Mischief

  • A brick was thrown through the window of a building on Brooklyn Avenue in New Cassel on June 13.
  • A fence was damaged on Dot Court East in Oceanside on June 15.
