Multiple Cars Have License Plates Stolen: Nassau Police

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending June 25. All charges are merely accusations.

Larceny From Cars

• Two batteries were stolen from a car parked at National Wholesale Liquidators, located on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead, on June 17.
• A man stole $5 cash from an unlocked car parked on Walden Street in Westbury on June 18.
• Assorted property was stolen from a car parked on Wheeler Avenue in Albertson on June 16.
• Both license plates were stolen from a car parked at the Elmont Senior Citizens Apartments, located on Elmont Road in Elmont, on June 19.
• Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Elzey Avenue in Elmont on June 19.
• Assorted property was stolen from an unlocked car parked at Maliblue Oyster Bar, located on Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach, on June 19.
• Assorted property was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Lee Avenue in Albertson on June 18.
• Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Atherton Avenue in Elmont on June 20.
• Assorted property was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Elm Drive North in Levittown on June 21.
• Keys and registration was stolen from a car parked on West Fulton Avenue in Roosevelt on June 23.
• Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on 246th Street in Bellerose Terrace on June 22.
• Assorted jewelry was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Evans Avenue in Elmont on June 23.
• The license plate was stolen from a car parked at the Bond Parc Condominiums, located on Bond Street in Great Neck Plaza, on June 24.
• Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Garland Lane in New Cassel on June 24.
• Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Broadway Mews in Hewlett on June 22.
• Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Terrace Road in Wantagh on June 23.

Petty Larceny

• Alcohol was stolen from Rite Aid, located on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, on June 18.
• Merchandise was stolen from Best Buy, located in Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, on June 18.
• Phillippe Innocent, 30, of Freeport, and Ashley Bretous, 23, of Uniondale, were arrested on June 18 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
• A man stole merchandise from Walgreens, located on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage, on June 17.
• Lorena Idrovo, 35, of Fresh Meadows, was arrested on June 19 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Old Country Road in Westbury.
• A man stole merchandise from Citgo Gas Station, located on Linden Boulevard in Elmont, on June 19.
• Gregory Dunn, 24, of Springfield Gardens, was arrested on June 19 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Old Country Road in Westbury.
• Karla Alas, 29, and Gladys Munguia, 41, both of New Cassel, were arrersted on June 19 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
• A woman stole merchandise from Target, located on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, on June 17.
• Stephen Mahnken, 41, of Shirley, was arrested on June 20 and charged with shoplifting from Home Depot, located on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown.
• An unlocked bicycle was stolen from the doorstep of a home on Hards Lane in Lawrence on June 22.
• Tools were stolen from the backyard of a home on North Linden Street in North Massapequa on June 22.
• A large quantity of lipstick was stolen from CVS, located on Old Country Road in Westbury, on June 22.
• A cell phone was stolen from a woman's pocket while she was at Dunkin' Donuts, located on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, on June 23.
• A package was stolen from the doorstep of a home on James Street in North Massapequa on June 13.
• Sonia Madera, 43, of New York City, and Milagros Cuevas, 42, of Brooklyn, were arrested on June 23 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Old Country Road in Westbury.
• Winston J. Rush, 25, of Huntington Station, was arrested on June 22 and charged with shoplifting from Home Depot, located on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset.
• A package was stolen from the doorstep of a home on Stanton Boulevard in Uniondale on June 18.
• Janetta Brown, 32, of New Cassel, was arrested on June 24 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart, located on Old Country Road in Westbury.
• A package was stolen from the doorstep of a home on Locust Avenue in Oceanside on June 19.

Criminal Mischief

• A fence at Westminister Nursery, located on Westminister Road in West Hempstead, was damaged on June 19.
• The playground at Margaret Road Park in North Massapequa was damaged on June 20.
• The windows of a car parked on Lenox Road in Oceanside were broken on June 20.
• The door of a cabana at Malibu Beach Club, located on Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach, was found damaged on June 23.

Graffiti

• Rorenise John Taofili, 26, of South Farmingdale, was arrested on Jun 20 and charged with spraying graffiti on Smashburger, located on Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh.
