Nassau Police Report: Week Of Dec 7

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Dec. 7 to Dec. 14.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Dec. 4: A woman reported that someone slashed the front and back drivers side tires on her car on Broadway in Massapequa.
  • Dec. 7: A woman reported that someone damaged her inflatable Christmas ornaments on Kent Lane in South Farmingdale.
  • Dec. 8: Scott Murphy, 30, of Old Bethpage was arrested on a DWI charge on Hempstead Turnpike and Prospect Avenue in East Meadow.
  • Dec. 9: A 25-year-old South Farmingdale woman, a 23-year-old Central Islip man and a 24-year-old Baldwin woman were arrested for possessing marijuana at a parking lot at Roosevelt Field Mall in East Garden City.
  • Dec. 9: A 57-year-old Farmingdale man and a 32-year-old New Cassel woman were arrested for possessing marijuana on Old Country Road in Westbury.
  • Dec. 10: A man reported that someone stole a Kobalt compressor and assorted tools from his detached garage at a Martin Road N home in Bethpage.
  • Dec. 11: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole gift cards on Pepper Circle S in Massapequa.
  • Dec. 12: A woman reported that someone entered her car and rummaged through the interior on Wendell Street in Plainview.
  • Dec. 13: An unknown person threw a brick through the living room window at a Sherwood Drive home in Plainview.
