Nassau Police Report: Week of January 12

Check out the recent crimes and arrests reported near the Massapequa area.

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Jan. 12 to Jan. 19.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Jan. 11: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her wallet on Lynn Place in Bethpage.
  • Jan. 11: A man reported that someone damaged the passenger side window of his car and stole 80 feet of copper at the PSEG headquarters on E. Old Country Road in Hicksville.
  • Jan. 13: Audrey Campbell, 27, Melissa Campbell, 24, and Johnathan Aitcheson, 23, all of Amityville, were arrested for shoplifting from Macy's at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
  • Jan. 13: A man reported that someone punctured the tires on his car at Kasi Japanese on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset.
  • Jan. 14: Randy O'Connor, 25, of Amityville was arrested for a DWI on Lockwood Avenue and Main Street in South Farmingdale.
  • Jan. 15: Victim reported that someone stole two resin chairs and an air conditioner cover from the shed in the back of an Oakley Avenue home in Massapequa.
  • Jan. 16: Ognjen Odobasic, 32, of Woodhaven was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
