Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of July 6 to July 13.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • July 4: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her iPad and Bluetooth on Francine Drive North in Massapequa.
  • July 5: A person reported that someone stole two license plates from their car on Clocks Boulevard in Massapequa.
  • July 5: A man reported that someone stole his NYS license plate from his car on Irving Drive in Woodbury.
  • July 5: A woman reported that someone damaged the back window of her car on Seaford Avenue in Massapequa.
  • July 6: A person reported that someone damaged the chain link fence at Big Chief Lewis Realty on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
  • July 6: A man reported that someone entered his can and stole his MacBook Air and giftcards at Shop Rite on Old Country Road in Plainview.
  • July 9: A woman reported that someone damaged the fence of her home on Harbor Lane in Massapequa Park.
  • July 10: Carlos Zapata, 37, of Amityville was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
  • July 10: A man reported that someone keyed his car while it was parked at the LIRR Massapequa Station on Broadway and Sunrise Highway.
  • July 11: A man reported that someone entered his truck and stole his iPhone6 on Florgate Road in Bethpage.
  • July 11: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole $90 worth of quarters on Pinetree Drive in Farmingdale.
  • July 11: A man reported that someone entered his car and removed two pairs of sunglasses and cash on Pinetree Drive in Farmingdale.
