Nassau Police Report: Week Of Oct. 5

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Oct. 5 to Oct. 12.
Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:
- Oct. 5: Thomas Crompton, 39, of Farmingdale was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
- Oct. 7: Sabrina Browning, 57, was arrested for shoplifting from Shop Rite on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.
- Oct. 7: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole cash on Connecticut Avenue in Massapequa.
- Oct. 7: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole assorted tools on Abbot Lane in Hicksville.
- Oct. 8: Aaron Hertzberg, 19, of Commack was arrested for shoplifting from Stop and Shop on Motor Avenue in South Farmingdale.
- Oct. 9: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his personal property on Hicksville Road in Bethpage.
- Oct. 10: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his personal property on Scooter Lane in Hicksville.
- Oct. 10: A woman reported that someone stole her mailbox from her home on Kellogg Street in Oyster Bay.
- Oct. 11: A woman reported that someone smashed the drivers side mirror on her car on Myers Avenue in Hicksville.
