Nassau Police Report: Week Of Sept. 28

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Sept. 28 to Oct. 5.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Sept. 26: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole various personal items on Plainview Road in Farmingdale.
  • Sept. 26: An unknown person damaged the side of the fence on Terrace View Road in South Farmingdale.
  • Sept. 29: Angela Campione, 51, of Plainview was arrested for shoplifting from Kohl's on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown.
  • Sept. 29: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his RayBan sunglasses and cash on Avoca Avenue in Massapequa Park.
  • Sept. 30: Salvatore Chiolo, 26, of Copiague and Christopher Stark, 26 of Lindenhurst were arrested for shoplifting from Sears at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
  • Sept. 30: A man reported that someone broke the mirror on the drivers side door of his car on Nelson Street in Farmingdale.
  • Oct. 2: A man reported that someone rummaged through his glove compartment at the LIRR Massapequa station.
  • Oct. 2: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her pocketbook on N Broadway in North Massapequa.
  • Oct. 3: Yunzhen Jiang, 37, of Plainview was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's on Old Country Road in Garden City.
  • Oct. 4: A 19-year-old Syosset woman and an 18-year-old Woodbury woman were arrested for possessing marijuana at Nassau Community College in East Garden City.
