Nor A Reality

I’d like to believe it’s over.

I’d like to even hope that it was over.

Not just the interminable counting of mysterious ballots, but the anger, the attacks on integrity, the law suits, the total shambles.

2020 brought an unexpected array of horror mainly the burden of Covid and all its life changes in normality.

Others were hard to digest. Beheadings in churches? Ye gads, could this be civilization?

The ugly, ugly political campaign waged by both parties.

The unending specter of fear spread by violence possibly not endorsed by the media, but certainly utilized for ratings.

Now in the eleventh month of this grim year, it should be over.

We have a choice to move on and regroup as America was pre 2020.

Hopefully, within the next six weeks a vaccine will emerge. Pollsters will retreat into yesterdays, barely remembered. Our new administration will gain the respect of the nation and be supported for the next four years.

And America will have learned a hard lesson.

However, at this moment it is only a hope, neither a reality or prediction.
