No. 80: Pick A Few At The Strawberry Festival
Attend the festive family event at Old Grace Church.
Every year, Massapequa residents can get a little taste of the farm life right in their very own backyard.
The Historical Soicety of the Massapequas hosts their annual Strawberry Festival every June on the grounds of Old Grace Church on Merrick Road, and this year's edition promises to be their biggest and best ever.
A fun and festive family event, the Strawberry Festival features crafts, music, food, games and...well, what else? Strawberries! Picked fresh out on Eastern Long Island, you can buy them by the package, or in the form of strawberry shortcake, jam, breads, and other such tasty treats.
