North Massapequa Civic Association

A few of us have been working on reviving the North Massapequa Civic Association. Some personal health issues put this project on hold for a long time, but we are back and plan on moving forward.
Recently there has been a lot of unwelcome activity in our neighborhood, some questionable properties, possible squatters, etc., our goal is to hopefully get this under control and support our local businesses.
Unfortunately our crime is also increasing, but the news isn't reporting all of it. The neighborhood that many of us grew up in and now raise our kids in, is changing and not for the better. It's up to us to preserve it.
With that said, I am asking for a few things:
1. Email addresses - our email address is northmassapequacivicassoc@gmail.com, please contact us, include your address, so that we can keep you informed of current events. We will NOT solicit your email or provide it to any other sources.
2. We will be preparing a monthly newsletter, another reason to get on our email list.
3. If you have any concerns about issues in North Massapequa, contact us, so we can work together to hopefully resolve them.
4. Local Businesses - We will gladly list you on our business page, you may also include specials or coupons, contact us for details.
5. If you see a home in your area that looks like it could be abandoned, unkept, or possibly contain squatters, please notify us asap. We will be on top of this.
6. Spread the word, tell your neighbors, the more people involved the more successful we can be.
