Obituary: ​Colin Ryan, of Massapequa, Dies at 31

Died: September 3, 2016

Visitation: Tuesday, September 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel on 4980 Merrick Road in Massapequa Park.

Service: Wednesday, September 7 starting at 10 a.m. at the St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church on 2 Bayview Avenue in Massapequa.

Obituary: Colin J. Ryan, of Massapequa, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 3. He was 31.

He died in a car accident in Southold on Sunday morning.

Colin graduated from Massapequa High School in 2004 and from Mitchell College in Connecticut in 2008.

He was a proud member of the Paralympic soccer and track teams in the early 2000’s.

He is survived by his parents, Mary and Edward and his brother Thomas.

In addition Colin is survived by many aunts and uncles and 18 cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Long Island Toy Lending Center.

Cremation will be private.
